Well Known actress Shweta Tripathi who is famous for her film Masaan, tied the knot with rapper Chaitanya Sharma in a traditional Indian ceremony at a resort in Goa.
Chaitanya Sharma is commonly known for his stage name SlowCheetah.
The couple was dated each other for almost five years after which the rapper Chaitanya Sharma proposed to her for marriage some months ago and she instantly had said a ‘Yes!. Shweta Tripathi and Chaitanya met in Delhi while they were filming a play. They later met on the flight back to Mumbai and fell in love.
During an interview with Hindustan Times, when Shweta Tripathi asked about her dream destinations for their wedding, she said “Goa has always been the perfect runaway getaway for us. We’ve gone there every little chance we’ve got and getting married here is just perfect. The shaadi is the first function and then it’s just parties, there’s after-party, pool party, and pajama party.”
And when she was asked what love is to them and how important marriage is in a relationship, She replied, “Love means the world to us. We love to love. Marriage, of course, is something we’ve been waiting for and is the last level to unlock in a relationship.”
Talking about her wedding scenes, Shweta Tripathi looks stunning wearing a mint, and red colored lehenga which was designed by Papa Don’t Preach, and she looked extremely beautiful.

Shweta Tripathi will be seen in web-series, titled Mirzapur, and a film (Cargo) up for release in the year 2018 while Chaitanya Sharma will be seen in Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Gully Boy.
They happily took the pheras, after which Chaitnya tied the mangalsutra around Shweta’s neck. The newlyweds clearly couldn’t hold their excitement.
