Sony Launched The World’s Smallest Travel Camera DSC-WX800 In India At Rs 34,990
Sony has launched its travel camera DSC-WX800 in India. Sony DSC-WX800 is said to be the smallest travel camera in the world which comes with the price tag of Rs 34,990.
The Sony DSC-WX800 will be available from October 29 across all Sony center, Alpha Flagship stores and other offline stores in the country.
The new Sony DSC-WX800 camera is said to deliver high-speed continuous shooting with 10 flops-per-second with buffer limit of up to 155 images. It also comes with eye AF technology for focused portraits.
The Sony DSC-WX800 has an 18.2-megapixel Exmor R Cmos Sensor with Zeiss lens, and optical SteadyShot feature comes with a 180 degree tiltable 2.9-inch (7.5cm) LCD screen. Sony DSC-WX800 has low-light photography sensitivity up to ISO 6400.
Sony DSC-WX800 offers a zoom range from 24mm at the wide end up to 720mm super-telephoto. It can capture 4K2 video footage with full pixel readout and no pixel binning, the company said in a press release statement.
The optical SteadyShot provides image stabilization. The Zoom Assist function helps users zoom out of photos as well to see its crisp resolution.
The new Sony DSC-WX800 has both Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi enabled to allow easy transfers to smartphones or to upload to websites for quick sharing.
The new Sony DSC-WX800 comes with BIONZ X image processing engine combined with a front-end LSI which delivers high-speed continuous shooting at up to 10 fps with a buffer limit of up to 155 images, the company said in a statement.
The WX800 enables one to directly select their shooting subject with ‘Touch Focus’ and ‘Touch Shutter’ functionality. It expanded the SF-G series of micro SD card with the introduction of SF-G64Tand SF-G128T cards.
SF-G64Tand SF-G128T cards are priced at Rs 13,290 and Rs 24,590 respectively. The new Sony DSC-WX800 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop or higher and also works with iPhone 4s or higher, and third-generation iPad or higher.
