Sony Launched XAV-AX5000 In-Car Audio-Video (AV) Receiver

Sony has launched its latest in-car audio-video (AV) receiver “XAV-AX5000” on Monday. XAV-AX5000 will be available with a price range of around Rs 24,990. “XAV-AX5000” is available in black color across car accessories shops and showrooms pan nation.

The new Sony’s AV receiver comes with dual-USB ports. And, for expandability, the 3 pre-out connectivity builds a full acoustic system including a subwoofer, a mono amplifier, and 4-channel amplifier.

The new Sony XAV-AX5000 in-car audio-video (AV) receiver comes with a 17.6 cm bezel-less flush surface screen display with capacitive touchscreen with many options inbuilt which includes mapping, sorting playlists and making phone calls.

It has ‘Rear Camera Ready’, which automatically showing the camera’s feed on that big screen when a user shifts into reverse.

The company claims that “XAV-AX5000” incorporates a “dynamic stage organizer” (DSO) which creates a vivid sound effect as if there were speakers on the dashboard with extra bass.

It has 10-band equalizer (EQ10), “free lossless audio codec (FLAC)” audio file compatibility via USB terminal that compresses files which allows you to share without any loss in quality.

“‘XAV-AX5000’ would enable smarter navigation, communication, and music-play from user’s phone with intelligent voice control, possible through ‘Android Auto’ and ‘Apple CarPlay’,” the company said in a statement. It incorporates 2-mode boost steps that allow for both delicate and massive boost settings. It has built-in 4-channel amplifier delivers 55 watts x 4 (maximum at 4 ohms) output power with DRA2 power IC.

The latest Sony XAV-AX5000 in-car audio-video (AV) receiver featured with many latest features which include the “quick wake up”function, rearview camera, and dual USB ports which will allow users to add various storage devices and to play from any music library of their choice.

It supports Free Lossless Audio Codec Audio File Compatibility (via USB terminal only) which is an audio format similar to MP3.
