Triumph Tiger 1200 Price, CC, Engine Type, Mileage And More: The Triumph Tiger 1200 is the new beast launched in Indian which was earlier known as the ‘Explorer’. The only changes made between the previous models and the current model is the sheer numbers.
The company claims that the new model has more than 100 changes to the larger of the Tigers. The Triumph Tiger 1200 is off-road focused bike launched in India at an estimated price of Rs 17 lakh.
The new Triumph Tiger 1200 is powered with 1,200 cc in-line three engine same as before. The only changes made in the new model engine is that it has lighter flywheel and crankshaft with new magnesium cam cover.
The engine of Triumph Tiger 1200 makes 139 bhp at 9,350 rpm and the peak torque rated at 122 Nm at 7,600 rpm. Triumph Tiger 1200 has 6-speed gearbox.
Triumph Tiger 1200 has got many new internal and external features. The new engine is lighter than before and generates only 2 bhp more. It has got color TFT screen for its instrumentation and you can also choose from different layouts. The new Triumph Tiger 1200 has an extra mode which traction control completely and turns off the ABS.
The Triumph Tiger 1200 has got many cool features which semi-active suspension, cruise control, include two-way quick-shifter, a hill-hold function, cornering headlamps, an electrically adjustable windscreen, integrated braking systems, and new standard LED headlamps and Arrow exhaust.
The Triumph Tiger 1200 is built for off-road biking and it will compete with other off-road focused adventure touring bikes like the Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro and BMW R1200 GS Adventure.
