Xiaomi Has Launched Mi Band 3 In India With Full Gesture-Based Touchscreen Display
Xiaomi has finally launched the Mi Band 3 in India as the successor to the Mi Band 2. The new Mi Band 3 will be available at a price range of Rs 1,999 from September 28.
The design of the Mi Band 2 is now improved with curved edges on the tracker. It is featured with a bigger 0.78-inch OLED full touchscreen display with a control button at the bottom.
It has sensors which will track physical activity of users along with passive features like notifications. The new Mi Band 3 also featured with tracking of the heart rate as well as sleep tracking.
The Mi Band 3 is built with 110 mAh battery which will give you a battery life of around 20 days. The new Mi Band is water resistant up to 50 meters.
The screen of Mi Band 3 is touch sensitive and supports multiple gestures like swiping and long press which will help users to navigate the UI and use the Mi Band 3 effortlessly.
The new display panel of Mi Band 3 shows incoming calls, text message alerts, messages from Whatsapp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, as well as the current time, steps taken, and real-time heart rate count.
Mi Band 3 is compatible with devices which runs on Android 4.4 and above, or iOS 9.0 and above. It can also auto-unlock associated MIUI smartphones for the wearer.
Xiaomi also claims that the pedometer has been drastically improved from before to detect movement accurately.
Mi Band 3 will work in conjunction with the Mi-Fit app for sleep tracking and several other exercises tracking features. The capsule is easily removable, thus allowing you to change or clean the straps easily.
Xiaomi will sell the Mi Band 3 in three color bands – Blue, Black, and Orange. The Mi Band 3 will be available exclusively in Mi.com and Amazon.in starting from September 28.
